We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising. Your wardrobe is yours alone.
Overview
This policy explains what data Lookboard collects, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
Lookboard is one of the FAMHQ apps (Lookboard, Roam, BookStash). They share one account: you sign in to each of them with the same email address, and your name and profile photo are the same in all of them. Access is by invitation only.
You sign in with a 6-digit one-time code we email to you. There are no passwords. Each app keeps its own data; deleting your account in Lookboard deletes only your Lookboard data (see Data retention).
Data we collect
- Account — email address; optional name and profile photo (shared across the FAMHQ apps).
- Wardrobe photos — the photos of your items, after the background is removed on your phone.
- Wardrobe data — item details (category, colors, seasons, brand, price, purchase date, tags, notes), outfits and their collages, planned days and the log of what you wore, and collections.
What stays on your phone
- Background removal runs on the device.
- Your weather city is stored only on the phone. The phone asks Open-Meteo for the forecast directly, sending only the city's coordinates.
- Shop pages you share into the app are opened by the phone, not by our server.
- The daily reminder is a local notification; Lookboard does not use push notifications.
AI features
When you use AI features, the request is processed by Cloudflare Workers AI: suggested item details and the flat-lay photo receive a downscaled copy of the item photo; outfit ideas receive the list of your items (no photos) and, if you ask for a day, its season and weather. Cloudflare processes these requests only to return the result. We count your AI requests to enforce a daily limit. Every AI feature is optional.
How we use your data
- To provide and sync your wardrobe, outfits and plans across devices.
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling or any purpose beyond operating the app.
Service providers
- Railway — hosts our application server.
- Supabase — hosts our database (PostgreSQL).
- Cloudflare R2 — stores the files and images you upload, and daily database backups.
- Resend — delivers sign-in and confirmation codes to your email address.
- Cloudflare Workers AI — the optional AI features above.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is kept for as long as your Lookboard account exists. You can delete it at any time: open Profile, tap "Delete account" and enter the code we email you. This permanently removes your items, photos, outfits, plans and collections from our servers immediately. Your FAMHQ account itself (email address and name) is removed when no FAMHQ app uses it any more.
Database backups are kept for 30 days, so deleted data disappears from backups within 30 days. If you no longer have the app, email julianomg8@gmail.com from the address you signed in with and we will delete your account for you.
Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Files are stored privately and are reachable only through time-limited signed links. Sign-in uses one-time codes; we do not store passwords or payment information.
Children
Lookboard is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us or using the in-app deletion.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
